2017 Trek Emonda ALR 5

Sorry if this is in the wrong category/forum. Looking for opinions on this model. Supposedly a near mint condition at $900. I know it's aluminum, just curious if anyone has experience with the ride/feel?

I've been out of cycling for about 3-4 years and kind of lost with the new models from the manafacturers. I was always a "Trek" guy before, but open to other ideas as well. My current ride is a Trek Hybrid, but ready for the open road again instead of multi-use paths and dodging golf carts in our community. A smart trainer and Zwift is in my future too....

Thanks in advance!

Is the model you're looking at equipped with disc or rim brakes?

Rim brakes.

Which I'm ok with. I figure I will use this for a year and as my bike trainer eventually. Bad thinking?

Make sure it is full 105, it should be though.

My bike shop was selling off some demo/rentals from 2018 back in December for 900.00. So for a year older but in mint, I think that price is fair, but me being me I would offer 850.00
