Man... is it just me or are mainstream pop-ish stars like Chris Brown, Usher, etc, are just producing what is essentially techno crap these days?
Damn coke heads..
I just wish they'd stop making songs for 'the club'.. even better, just stop making anything altogether. Totally ruining my radio experience on kube 93 today.

I have no idea how to post a poll in the middle of a thread, but I want to take a poll.
What is the best version of "Summertime Blues"?
The original: Eddie Cochrane
The beginning of heavy metal: Blue Cheer
A damn good version: The Who
You have no soul version: Alan Jackson

If anyone has any recs to make based on this, I would LOVE to hear them!

Really??
It reminds me a lot of RJD2's stuff.
And maybe that one french rap group from the 90's that did that one popular song.. you know, that one.

It has elements of a lot of electronic stuff I listen to but the vocals really make it.
I have no idea what french rap group you're talking about. Surely not MC Solaar lol.
Edit: The vocals sound sorta like something Massive Attack would do, but not quite. It's a little funk a little jazz a little electronic and totally awesome!

Got the new She Wants Revenge album this week. First listen I was thinking "this is lame, it's not nearly as goth as their first album" but it's grown on me after a couple listens. It's still not as goth, but it's ok.

While driving home from the beach today, I was playing just random mp3's. A Madonna song came on. I swear, she sounds a lot like Lady Gaga. I'm not sure why Madonna feels the need to emulate Gaga, she should just do her own thing and be original.

The family came home while I was blasting Iggy's Wild America. Spawn1 wanted to know why I didn't play this more often. I think I got the stink eye from the SO.

I am slightly ashamed to admit that I like alot of Gaga's songs. They're catchy.
