Help identify stem

Hi there, I just aquired this beautifull NOS Cinelli Aliante Pro Team from 1998 with a complete Shimano Ultegra group including Flight Deck. Everything works nicely, and it is a nice ride. But for some reason they have sort of "cut corners" building this bike back in the days - because the stem, handlebar and seat post aren't form Cinelli. I cant identify the stem - can anybody help me? It is from ITM, but I can't find the model.

I believe that it's one of these. Silver or Black were probably options at that time. ITM PANTO MOSER QUILL STEM 90mm 1" 25.8mm VINTAGE 80s ROAD RACING BIKE BICYCLE | eBay

I'd say that's a beautiful stem, I wouldn't say using the ITM stem and handlebars is cutting corners at all.

The stem reminds me of a 3TTT stem I have on a lugged steel Pinarello from the '90's, I think that sculpted look is pretty awesome.

I have seen Kalloy and SR quills in a similiar shape. Imo they are quite garish.
But ITM is very nice and befitting the bike. I'd keep it if it fits you.
Imo an attractive classic stem, like a 1A on that bike would be wrong.
It is not from that era. With the welded oversized tubes it should not have a classic stem.
A welded profile or ITM stem would also look nice (garish, in a good way). Those also happen to be lighter and stiffer than trad road quills.

XA would look ok if you must have cinelli.

Love the bike btw. Incredibly cool.

ITM is an Italian company that made bars, stems, seatposts, and other road components. I started seeing them around the the late '80s or early '90s. I think they were the primary shakers for "ergonomic" handlebar bends. They offered something different from Cinelli and 3T. Their stuff is beautifully crafted, but I can leave the goofy handlebar bends. Give me trad or give me modern.

Thanks - but I've found out now, the model is called ITM 700:

Maybe, but a Cinelli one seems more right.

Well You're right, 1A would be wrong, and yes - this is a incredible cool find. I was considering the Cinelli Oyster. Not only because I would like it to be a Cinelli but also because a bit shorter stem would suit me better.
