Powertap and Jawbone purchase or Caad9 frame?
I am having trouble debating on which choice would be more beneficial. Should i buy a second hand powertap comp(wired) laced to dt 1.1 to see if im improving and purchase a oakley jawbone as well (for schwag). Or buy a caad9 frame to train on and race? But come december and early january i would be just be getting another team bike.

Seems pretty easy; get the PT but forget the Jawbone. You said youself that you'll be getting another team bike come spring so there is no point in getting the CAAD9 frame.

Yeah, you're delusional, that's what this world needs, more negativity. Just because a team didn't pick me up, means that a team will not pick you up.
He is not getting on a pro team or getting paid to race, but I know a few guys that get major discounts on bikes and accessories and their racing abilities leave a lot to be desired.
Get the powertap and only buy the Oakleys if you have money to burn.
Forget the new frame if you already have a half decent bike.

Oakleys are not junk and you should have as many pairs as you can afford...
if you get a new team bike in spring why in the heck would you spend your own money on a bike?
dont you already have one? if not then avoid the Oakleys and get your own personal bike...

You've raced ONCE. You didn't win. Ergo, you won't be getting a free bike anytime soon, so don't hold your breath. Most people don't get free bikes until they're of a Cat1 level, or are a national level junior.
You're neither. You might be someday, I don't know, but you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you think that people are going to throw free bikes at you just because you race.

Raising the Abyss
Then that's even more reason to get the PT and not the frame.

I guess I just assumed because of your general cockiness in many other threads, combined with the fact that it's an incredibly stupid question otherwise.

There is no chance that I would buy a used Powertap. I like buying used things but a fairly sensitive electronic piece of equipment would be where I would draw the line. For example, I have already replaced the wired harness on mine once (very thin wires - easy to wear out, $80 or so as I recall). You won't have any warranty at all.
If you can't afford a new Powertap, you probably can't afford a Powertap.

I would never buy a new one unless I wanted a specific rim on it, just saying.

I beg to differ. I have bought 4 used powertaps, 2 on ebay, 2 from friends, I ended up selling 2 and keeping 2. I had no problems with any of them. They have all been wired ones and I picked up the last one for $450, it's an SL and I got 3 harnesses with it.

It was from a local seller though, so I did a stomp test before I bought it to verify it was still accurate.

Those glasses look silly IMO. Whatever option doesn't involve wearing those is best.

damn why the jawbone hate, I like those shades.
I have no data/experience on the powertap and there for no opinion
and I agree with most on not getting the frame if you will be getting a team frame soon
