Bicycle Repair Man !!!
It is a nicely made steel frame with a very nice ride quality and very crisp handling, the closest village is 13 miles away and I am looking forward to making this ride as many times as possible.
There also some fabulous trails so i opted to fit cross tyres instead of slicks and they have a really nice roll out

Yes the Upstand non-foldable version, love it as I can get the bike standing wherever. This version comes with the holder/clip that I've attached under the bottle cage.

First time poster here...So many sweet hybrids!! Scott Sub Speeds seem to be woefully under represented so i thought id throw mine up.
Just finished with the drop bar conversion.
Salsa Cowchipper Handlebars
TRP Hylex hydraulic brakes
Microshift 9 Speed bar ends
Still trying to get the drop bar / hood situation dialed in, but its otherwise finished!

My girlfriend and I just got our first "good" bikes August 2nd. Mine is a 2016 Trek FX 7.4 and hers is a 2016 Trek DS 8.3.
Hopefully I will get some better pictures of them.

...so here is my new 2015 Specialized Crosstrail Comp Disc, very pleased with this bike, probably one of the best bikes I've owned, but then again, I've never spent over a grand on any bike before, so I guess you do get what you pay for. Changes made from the stock bike are a new Avatar saddle, Specialized Bennies pedals, bottle cage, and Ergon GR5 grips...

Welcome to the Hybrid bike section of BF, ljr...I also just recently purchased a 20" Trek FX 7.2, I have not ridden it enough to really get it dialed in.
You have done to your bike what you wanted to do with it. I am sure in the future, you , like the rest of us, will be changing other stuff on your 7.2, one thing I did was to replace the stock crankset with a much lighter crankset, it makes a big difference in weight, although it affected my gearing somewhat.
I also have the disc model, after using disc on other bikes, I really prefer them.
Enjoy your bike!

The 7.2 FX is not a flashy bike in my view, I really prefer high visibilty colors, the black is classy per se.
The black models need a little color infusion accents!

I just upgraded from my 1995 Trek 730 Multitrack to a 2008 Surly Karate Monkey. Strange thing is, the two bikes have almost identical geometry (Surly has 3cm longer top-tube) but the KM rides so much better. I plan to put 2" slicks on instead of the 40mm tires I have here.
18" Husker Blu Karate Monkey frameset
Cane Creek S2 headset
Deore crankset w/36t chainring
Surly 18t SS cog
Deore V-brakes
Race Face Respond handlebar
Oury lock-on grips
Velocity Dyad rims
High flange touring hubs (wheels built by Rich Lesnik of Rivendell Bicycle Works)
40mm Schwalbe Dureme tires (I plan to replace them with Maxxis 2.1" Torches)
Topeak saddlebag
Garmin bicycle computer
Ixon IQ light (only mounted at night)
Generic seatpost, saddle, stem and pedals.

Here's my 91 Schwinn Crosscut Hybrid. It's had every component swapped out, most more than once. I converted it from a 21 speed to a 27 a few years back and this year went with a more areo style rims. Another reason I put new rims on it was that a few years back I put new rims on that had 135cm hubs when the originals were 130. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time but I really had to spread the stays apart to get the wheel on and I didn't like that. I have run 36 spoke rims every since I swapped out the original rims. Right now it has Schwalb 700x32 tires and they are really nice tires. I estimate the bike has well over 20K miles on it.
