Sounds like you made the right decision...I liked mine well enough while I had it. But, I can really tell a difference in the ride roughness/smoothness between aluminum and carbon.

It's a nice looking bike, but you need to remove some of the spacers and flip the stem up.

I hear ya there...I got the opportunity to ride my dad's one of a kind parkpre road bike that's full carbon+DA and it's a whole 'nother ballgame One of these days...

Lots of carbon forks with carbon steerers can only have 25mm(1") of spacers-don't know if this is the case with yours though.
