Good idea!

And we can have frosty beverages too!

I like to have a pina colada when I shop for bike parts!

This is a great idea and woud be even better if we made it more than a BF thing. Like if someone got a park permit and we flyered for it at shops. We could also get some of the local teams involved because I'm sure lots of road/track racers have parts lying around that they want to get rid of.

why not do a swap meet/flea market? Money was, after all, created to allow the transaction of goods between market partcipants who may not have complementary goods for barter. In other words, what if I want something of yours but you don't want anything of mine? You won't accept my money?

EDIT: Oh, never mind.

I thought swap meet usually mean't you could either swap or purchase. All the bike swaps I've ever heard of have been like that.

This a good idea, do you think that OLD style would sponsor It, like they did the meet and great?

Do it by the Wilson skatepark, that'd be fun.

The Wilson skatepark is a great idea! Do we need to get a permit from the Park District or someone? I think there should be food and drink involved as well, although perhaps alcohol is banned by the Park District, I don't know.

You can get permits that allow you to consume alcohol at parks. Costs $$ though.

I can get a permit for Humboldt Park - no one will care if we're drinking.
I second being able to sell stuff. I don't really need anything and I have so much to get rid of!
