Specialized Crossroads 700 x 38 Anybody Tried Them??
Has anybody tried the above tyre, granted maybe not the lightest but with that mix between puncture protection, speed on tarmac and able to handle gravel / the odd bit of mud maybe these come pretty close to the Holy Grail???
A friend has some on his hybrid and seemed to be awful quick on the paved sections although they were too wide and he was getting some rub so swapped them out .... must admit I'm tempted to try some as they seem like an incredibly worthy but little publicised all round tyre.

It's a good basic hybrid tire that will give you reliable service. It is pretty heavy and not the most supple tire, but it does have a good tread pattern for a wide range of uses. Unless you really need the extra puncture protection of the Armadillo, the standard version is 100 grams lighter and a good bit lower price.
