@nlerner will not be banned! He is one of the good ones. I would take the box if you are willing to sent my way. Might see if I can still use it when it gets back to me. If you have some french stuff to sell, I might be willing there too.

I am putting together an early 50's Terrot. I want the look of old, and French, but not everything has to be. I could use a stem, about 80mm French with a 25mm or 25.4mm clamp. A 26.2mm seatpost would be good as well, preferably something that may have been used in the early 50's. I suspect 25.4 would provide more options. Handlebars won't fit in that box. I actually probably have everything else I need Frenchwise I am also looking for a nice set of Nuovo Tip high flange hubs (the round holes), preferably with 126mm rear spacing (not french threading). I thought those hubs give the classic look. But am open to other hubs that look the part as well, but in this case, not french threading as I have tons of freewheels, but none with french threading. Oh, also looking for a Gran Sport rear derailleur for the same bike, open to other ideas, but at least that is close to period correct. I have a matchbox record front. Not the Nuovo Gran Sport. I will still kill it by adding a long cage to it for better gearing to go with the 46-32 Stronglight 49d.
If you have anything that might work, PM me with pricing or if there are any potential trades. No problem if not, I will look for swaps when I get back from vacation. I will be on a road trip for two weeks with my daughter, but will check emails nightly. Thanks! Chris

Well, at the risk of getting banned from BOC for life, I decided to ditch the metal box. After several rounds of loading crap, I've found that it's really heavy and makes closing the BOC really difficult. I opted for a plastic liner made from cut up gallon jugs.
Now, if someone wants that metal box back, I'm glad to send!
I can also note that there's some serious crap that I left in the box, even after removing a fair amount of stuff to make room for my stuff. In particular, lots of sets of canti brakes. Someone claim those, please! The BOC needs space for new crap.

Pic of the box after just opening:
And here's my take
I added a few fun things and parts that I'm sure someone can use. This was very cool - and I'll definitely get in on it again after a little while.
I have the next address and should make it to the post office by this weekend.
Also I was hoping there'd be room for me to put an old 1970s black Brooks saddle that came off a Raleigh Sprite, but yeah that box is super densely packed

I so wish I could have used those white brifter covers, but I traded the brifters away for bar ends long ago... and I'm still loving them!

BOC incoming, and “Out for Delivery.” I believe this is my 3rd round with the box. Or is it the 4th? Anyhow, what I’m really wondering is... The more one plays, does the excitement of anticipation ever lessen? I highly doubt it! I feel like a kid on the night before Christmas 😆

Understood. Though I see expectations, and anticipation as being distinctly different from each other. While I’m not settling any expectations, the excitement of anticipation is undeniable.
BOC incoming 😁

It really was a fine packing job.
After spilling it’s contents out, and sprawling them across the floor where they lived for a couple of days, I finally selected my take, and refill.
Found a pretty sweet saddle bag (thank you to who ever donated that!), a few pins, a patch, and a bit of brake mounting hardware.
BOC is sealed up, and I’m just waiting to hear back from @Reco Very on a shipping address.
EDIT: address obtained. Box going out Friday morning!

Honestly, when I got the box recently there was a moment when I paused and considered not unpacking it at all, knowing how difficult is would be to get everything back in there. I have a suspicion that's why there's a seatpost included in @nlerner's take. I didn't get it packed anywhere near as neatly as you appear to have done.

Thanks everyone for keeping things running while I was on my two week road trip. I checked in some, but if I missed any requests to be added/deleted from the list, please let me know! Saw few brave (and studly) cyclists going over the passes in Colorado. And others along the way. I bought some coasters wrapped in bicycle chains from a gallery in Madrid, NM that specializes in re purposed items for art.
