Bianchi TSX - What tires sizes?

I have 700x23c right now for a bianchi TSX and these are pretty tight. I would like to go to 700x25c, the roads are really bumpy where I live the vibration off the 23c is pretty bad. Will 700x25c fit on the TSX frame?

Here are some shot with 23cs..

Thanks!

Impossible to know. If you had 25 700 x 25 tires from different makers they would all probably be a different size. The only way to is to try. Roger

Yeah I agree sadly trial and error will be the only way. You may have better luck with something race oriented rather than say a Amradillo or Pasela.

And,what starts out fitting OK, may cause problems after a period, when the cords start relaxing and the tyre grows fatter. This is one case where you're better off spending the dollars for a premium tyre, as the higher grade and number of threads are more resistant to increases in girth.

My Bianchi TSX was so tight on the rear end, with 23s, rocks would stick to the tires sometimes and scratch the back of the seattube right there. Consider spending a little more if needed to get some really great tires, maybe with a higher thread per inch, to get a better feel. Maybe something like Michelin Pro4s or something (they seem to be on sale everywhere...great tires.)

Thanks for the advice...I might try some 25s (cause I already ordered them) But I think 23 are the most realistic. I want to keep it racey, and all Italian I'm really only considering Vittoria Rubino pro, or Corsa.

That's really tight for 23c tires.

I never fitted 25's. I put on Vittoria Corsa G 23mm which actually measure 24.2mm. So 25mm could fit if you seat the tire a bit lower in the dropouts. The clearance to the rear brake is super tight, I was running with Chorus monoplanners for a bit that were sitting slightly lower on on side when I braked the caliper arm would hit the tire and twore a chuck out of the aluminum! tire was fine. Depends on the brand, a tire that is exactly 25mm maybe, but say a corsa 25mm or grand prix 4000 25mm, no way.

True on both counts. My Bianchi works fine with 700Cx28 Continentals, which run small (about 1", i.e., between 25 and 26mm), but would not work with 700Cx28 Armadillos, which run at least full size, if not 1 mm larger.
