Lubricating hinge bolt?

Lubricating Brompton hinge bolt?
Hi,
Does anyone have any tips on lubricating the bolt that is on the middle hinge and the handlebar that drops down Brompton bike?
I'm detecting some stiffness when I turn the screw. Also, there could be some caked on grease (bike has been in a shed for a good while!). grease or oil drops? Maybe need to get a stiff wire brush to remove old grease? Above pix is not my bike just one I got on the interwebs. Thanks.

LET'S ROLL
You need something light to penetrate; 3-1, Bosheild T9, etc.
Grease may not penetrate. You'll want to place some drops
from from different angles -front/back/sides. Then work the
joints to really get the liquid in.
Ps; not sure if you're asking advice for the hinges or clamp
bolts; or both? The advice above is for the hinges. For the
clamp shell bolts - grease is good.

A very thin oil that can flow into the interior spaces.
When I bought my used SUV, a mechanic at the dealership warned me that some of the exterior hinges that are exposed to weather might need to be replaced, which also involved color matching paint. I was glad he warned me, a few times each year I try to get some thin oil into the hinges and then open and close that door a lot to try to get the oil worked into the tight spaces. Bought that SUV 16 years ago and the original hinges still work well.
