This is an odd duck. Does the "Super Champion" slot between the "Le" and "Team" Champions? Or is it a thinly-disguised Le Champion?

Here's a working example of a dynamo mounted on the bottom bracket with a seat tube-mounted shift lever to engage it. Not a bad bike all around.

Giant Excursion Touring Bike - 58cm - $400 (Bozeman/Livingston)

Selling a Giant Excursion Touring Bike, $400 or OBO. The size of the bike is 58 cm. The bike is in excellent condition, with less than 20 miles on it. Everything on the bicycle is fully functioning: tires, brakes, derailleurs, lights, and lock all work properly. This bike is an excellent vintage/commuter/touring bike. It belonged to my father, and sat in the garage since new.

Details:
-Front and rear messenger rack
-Front and rear tire fenders
-Built-in generator for functioning head and tail light
-Built-in lock for rear tire
-Shimano Deore LX derailleurs, front and rear
-2 brand new water bottles and cages

I might try both. It's about 15 miles each way for me. I would only be able to buy a backpack's worth, but that it is probably a good thing.

This is as close as can be, I think, to finding a Nashbar Race/CE, which I lost to a thief. My Super Course came up as a frame only a few years ago, but I passed.

A comfortable motorcycle?

I kid. This thread seems to suggest it's identical to Motobecane, just rebranded.

Weird. This could be a good value, then. The odd provenance would likely deter some bidders.

I'd bet it's a European market bike. The models they sent here were different. The US importer spec'd out the bikes, and the name Motoconfort was never imported here.

I also note that it doesn't have half-chromed chain- and seatstays, so maybe it actually slots below a Le Champion. Unsure.

Yeah it doesn't sound like it will be of much value to an old 5/6 speed rear derailleur and 27" wheel guy like me. For those who are closer please provide us with an after the fact report if it was worth your time.

Thanks all - Don

Appears legit but not a model imported to the US. There's some non-English catalogs to download and probably help you verify date. (use Google translate, French, etc.) I've seen other pics of the same as well. With exception to the dropouts and paint, frame looks nearly identical to my '72 Le Champion.

Pretty good deal on paramount p-eyelet fork and some super-record headset parts

No sooner do I find a blue cromovelato Razesa than I descry another with Zeus parts, albeit with some disturbing pitting. Also somehow picked up a Harry Quinn; I'd forgotten to search for that.[URL="https://www.ebay.com/itm/131388156842"/URL] I think I edited the link ok.https://www.ebay.com/itm/131388156842 this time. If I don't direct someone this way I'll have to plan to build a frame for somebody I might not meet.

Cut me some slack, it's hard to watch hoop with the sound turned off.

I haven't learned the international url's which seldom fail to interest here
