Hope this isn't too off-topic.
I have a question about how one can copy a Craigslist post so that the pictures and information can be pasted into a post here (and other forums).
I see that others often are able to do this, but my experience with trying to do it is pretty hit-or-miss, with mostly misses. SOMETIMES if I select and copy the entire CL ad, and then paste it into a post window, it works great--ALL the pictures show up. Sometimes I even get a message saying there are too many pictures--but that can be remedied by just deleting the HTML code for most of them. I then clean up the extraneous text--CL messages and such and voila! But most of time I just get a plain text rendering with no photos. So I end up just posting the link to the actual ad. Maybe that is even the preferred method? But I like the posts that have the photos right in them.
I also see eBay ads handled like this--for example the post about the Bernard Hinault Gitane above. I'm not sure how that is done either--probably differently from Craigslist ads.
If anyone has tips on how to accomplish this, please reply and thanks in advance.

@Porschefan: I find it's hit or miss as well for the CL adds. I generally just copy & paste, but the area with the map in the top right of the listing seems to have a bunch of elements which cause problems. Sometimes with CL ads, I copy the link, then the text body, then just one of the display images. Trying to post it all at once sometimes ends in a jumbles of html codes like you say.
The ebay ads are more problematic. In this case above with the Gitane, the seller included a lot of images in the main text section which I was able to cut & paste. It's possible to select one of the ebay listing display images, download to a hard drive, then post to a photobucket account and post the [IMG]--but that's too much work in most cases, unless it's a listing I really want to save for future reference.

Tell me about it. I have been pondering it for the last few hours. I am going to have to measure the clearance from the basement floor joists to the floor to see if there is enough room since one more bike would put me at that point.

No idea on how a Super Prestige from the late 80s-early 90s would compare to an early 00s Sintesi but based on the craftsmanship and the riding characteristics of mine, I'll probably be in the market for another if one ever pops up locally in my size again. It's that good. I would at least check it out if it's your size.

Interesting old bike. Doesn't look like anything to write home about, but it has Reynolds tubing (looks like 531) and the price is right.
At least it doesn't have gas pipes.

I adore my Tommasini that I got from Grady.

I still have my Sintesi frameset.
It's got some hiccups, but I can't bear to give it up.
It rides so well.

I don't know much about value of Centurion Ironman, but this seems like a good deal to me for a nice one with Shimano 600.

Pretty sure this is a 1986, which the catalog shows has having a triple crank. Looks like it may have been swapped.

This bike is actually only a few miles from me (no relation to seller). Alas, it is too much $ and by the looks of the sloped top tube, a bit small for me.
