WTB Record Hubs and Front Derailleur(s)
a) High flange rear, 36h, Italian thread, 126 spacing, VGC or better please.
b) Low flange front, 36h, VGC or better, please.
Skewers would be nice, but not a must.
All set with 36h hubs, will be looking for a 32h front.
c) One or more junk / very poor / parts condition clamp-on NR/SR front derailleur. These will be used for an experiment in trying to get a mounting configuration that will accept a 1.25" seat tube - the der. may or may not survive and I'd like to experiment with already broken or otherwise low-value examples first. I don't need the cage, only the band/clamp in good structural condition.

I can supply a pair of low flange Record hubs, 36h, with QR's; but can't help you with the high flange one. I have never heard of anyone mixing the two, except for the oddball rear hub that has one high flange and one low.
And I believe I have a somewhat trashed Record front derailleur.
Alternately, if you want to establish your true weight weenie cred, I have a pair of Weyless hubs, also 36h with original QR's. They, too, are low flange.

The Klein came with a 28h wheelset that's high flange rear, low flange front. They're keepers, but I won't be riding them until I trim down the keg I'm carrying around. Best guess is that high rear/low front was chosen to build a stiffer rear wheel and a front that's just a touch more compliant...who knows, and whether or not it makes a tangible difference may be a stretch. Mostly, I just think it's interesting. I'll abandon the idea for the 36h wheels at least.

I have a set of 32h rims and a 32h high flange rear to be built as an alternate set just because - though that may get a high flange front. Gotta think on that. I'll update the original post once I decide if I want a high or low flange front hub. If anyone reading this has one or the other they'd be willing to offer up, feel free to shoot me a PM or a message here.

Well, I have a line on a set of high flange record hubs, but the Weyless are right up this build's alley. PM.

Bought for the same purpose, I have a 32 low Record hub that I will not be using, due to changing circumstances. PM me if you decide to go low.
Cheers, Eric

@Sir_Name, I believe I have the front derailleur. Email me at the address below rather than sending me a PM.
