30+ tomorrow

I got the flu Dec 22, turned into bronchitis, my nephew died and we buried him on his 27th birthday and tomorrow I feel good enough to get on the bike. What a terrible few weeks. My nephew played for Penn State and was in terrific shape,so sad. Enjoy life people it may just end but be prepared.

So sorry for your nephew and your family. 27 is way too young -- my son is 28 with his life still ahead of him. I wish that could have been true for your nephew. Peace.

@ OP: Sad to hear about your nephew. Condolences to you and the young man's family. I have two kids, and I don't know what I'd do under those circumstances.

Freezing rain in the north suburbs of Chicago at the moment. I sort of hope it stays around for the morning commute... put those studs to use!
