Bullhorns, Drops or keep the Straights?

So I just ordered my new Trek District S, and I was wondering what everyone's opinions on the types of handlebars they prefer.

I am thinking about getting bullhorns, mostly because it seems to be a lot like riding not the hoods but without the drops. Bullhorns also look pretty clean cut on a single speed as well.

What do you all think?

The awesome thing about drop bars is that you get drops. If you're not going to use them, don't buy drop bars.

If it didn't come with handlebars, I'd get either drops or bullhorns depending on how I intended to use the bike. But since it does, I'd ride it the way it is until I had a compelling reason to spend more money on it.

Bulldrisers.

I can't believe there hasn't been a thread like this before - oh wait...

Based on what I've read, I'm gonna try risers next. I've only tried drops and I love the multiple positions. I was tempted to try horns, but riding on drops in the hood position is good enough for me, plus you get the flats and drops.

Thanks for all the replies everyone.
Ya I know there are probably several different types of these threads out there but I just got lazy and was tired of searching. I kinda wanted to talk to real people rather than search.

I hear ya. The robots that were replying in threads years ago were sorta dumb.

You're picking out new bars before you've even ridden your bike? Sounds smart.

Whatever you do, be sure to put a pair of these on:

But seriously...Drops with aero levers are like having bullhorns, but you also have drops! More hand positions are a + for me

To form a valid handle bar opinion, one must first ride the bike.

It looks like that bike has been set up to more up right. I think drops are the way to go. Even if you only use them occasionally they are nice to have. I usually ride the tops of the drops like bullhorns, but when im in a hurry its drops all the way.

DA-Hell???? How do those work? I mean sure they look like risers, but how is that dude supposed to ride on the hoods or even access his levers to brake or shift?

Haha sorry I was brain dead that day. I usually ride on the hoods. No ideas why I wrote that the other day.
