Im baffled the difference in prices. I am also struggling to establish the difference between an elite and the 1.0 -3.0 models.

Prices change based on the frame, drivetrain, brake and wheel components.

A Carbon frame will be more expensive than an aluminum frame.

Entry level Shimano or SRAM components are cheaper than top end Shimano or SRAM components.

Depends on the year I believe

I believe Sirrus 1 has standard brakes
Hi-Ten steel forks

Sirrus 2 Disc mechanical brakes
Hi-Ten steel forks
Upgraded components ( shifter, derailleur)

Sirrus 3 Disc hydrcaulic brakes
Better fork - carbon i think
Farther Upgraded components ( shifter, derailleur)

Curious as to how much the used Sirrus is that you are looking at?

Hoping we are not talking about how the seller really upped the price on the bike!
