Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bottecchia Duello

Hi everyone.

I might have the opportunity to try out a Bottecchia Duello and maybe buy one, I just can't seen to find any reviews on these bikes. Does anyone have one, had one or know some who has had one?

DUELLO - Race - Prodotti - Biciclette da corsa e mountain bike

The first thing that I noticed was how few spokes there were on the wheels, is this normal?

Thanks!

Actually, the photo shows 28 spokes front and rear, which is pretty normal.
Lots of wheels come with as few as 16 spokes on the front, 20 on the rear.
The weird paired spoke lacing makes it look like there are fewer spokes.
