Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Last night, when the furnace kicked on, the intake vent sounded like a jet engine. Climbed up on a chair to check it (it's in the ceiling) - yeah, the filter looked like a gray fleece sweater (we need a vomit emoji) and was choking the system. It obviously hasn't been changed since my FIL passed a year ago. Thanks for watching over things BIL

Working on it. I’m out of things to sell lol.

Once I got on my bike my legs felt good, but still took it slow.

Fun fact the bike computer works but only when I am not on the bike.

I could take it to a yard about 40 miles away and have them do the work, but then I’d have to add about $1k each way to take the mast down, pull the boat from the water, haul it over and back with a large truck, put the mast back up, and then launch it.

Love sailing. Hate this type of stuff. The boat is getting old like it’s owner. 😔
Bad news. That’s the nice thing about keeping a boat in a place like Naptown. Parts aren’t any cheaper, but there’s always someone to put them on.

One of the things I really liked about having my little 22’ Rocket was the ability to trailer it to my house for maintenance.

Wouldn’t mind going back to something like that. Maybe a J70?

This is awful. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I’ve been up since 2 alternating between sweating to death and freezing.

The upside is that means it's working.
I get my first Pfizer dose on the 8th. Hopefully I'll not have too much bad reaction. Worse yet a psychotic reaction.

Will do! Hopefully will have the new case by then. How faraway from the airport are you? We stay at a hilton garden right next to the airport.

His response was, "free rent." I mean, at least have the decency to have a symbiotic relationship, mow the ******g lawn, pull weeds, change the furnace filters, etc, rather than be straight-up parasitic.

Ditto.

Planned on a ~4hr road ride but I got up late so that meant ~3hrs, but I needed some coffee and now I only would have ~2hrs, and now I'm at my computer again so I'm just going to go ride my MTB for an hour or so
