Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Velomax hub with spokes attached, and a Velocity Aerohead OC rim to mount on it. It should be pretty light when done. I don't have a matching front yet, but I'll work on that next. I hope to have a sub 1500g pair of wheels for under $250 when I'm done. So far it is up to $110. This doesn't include the ridiculously expensive Campy Cassette & chain I'll need. That's what I get for going Campy 10sp. I'm assuming it is within my capabilities to build this wheel up, especially since the double threaded spokes are already attached. If I'm not capable it'll cost me to have a wheelbuilder finish it up.

I can't order mine because we can't renew the club yet because our MTB VP never sent in a post-race form (now we've got a nice $150 fine on top as well, idiot).

Just received a pair of Lake MXZ302's . Took them for a test ride today, my feet got a little cool (nothing to complain about), but it was only -8C. They're a gigantic improvement over my old shoes, so I'm pretty happy, but I'll have to wait for colder weather to decide the verdict.

It is in great condition! It was owned by a bike mechanic who replaced the bartape, cables, tires and tubes about a month ago. The frame does have some minor scratches, which i'll paint over with some touch up, but thats about it! I was super stoked when I picked it up. Now I have the upgrade bug, but a girlfriend who has not quite fully understood the madness
