I am less likely to get on the bike when it's 35 or 95 Degrees farenheit ?.
If not 35 or 95 degrees , what is your upper/lower temperature range over/under which you are uncomfortable.
( In Celsius.= 35 C and 2 C. )

Ok. I voted but hey I live in Florida where the likelihood of cycling under 35 degrees is a seldom realized thing. Yes, it can be 35 degrees and under in Florida during the winter months. Northern Florida can even get a few flurries.
The killer here is the heat and the humidity. I bike to work so I have no choice. When the temperature is in the 90's and the heat index is way over 100 degrees, I slap on some sunblock and drink plenty of water before I head home (peak burn time is roughly 10 to 5 p.m.).
When I do have a choice I always choose to get to my destination in the a.m. I don't mind coming back home in the heat because I know a cool shower is waiting for me.

I live near Sarasota, ( 44 miles round trip ) and I commute to work 5 days a week. And the hotter and more humid it is, the more I can't wait to get out of work and ride.
I will drink plenty of water before I get on the bike, and then drink water and Gatorade during the ride. And then Gatorade and whey protein after the ride, followed by as much water as I can stand, about a half gallon within an hour and a half of getting home!

I don't mind cold at all. I just keep adding layers 
. It's really quite refreshing too. Heat, on the other hand, is really annoying. Sweating like crazy, bringing a tanker truck filled with water. It's just a pain. Of course, it doesn't compare to my love of cycling, so it doesn't stop me 
I just make sure I have enough water. Just makes me hesitate.

90-95 is my upper limit, if it gets below 50, I'm not too interested. That's why I have a trainer. It can be 10 outside for all I care, I can still get an hour in before I get bored. It's not my body being cold, its the cold air in my mouth, throat, lungs. Not into that feeling. I'll ride in the heat before the cold. But, on hot days, I prefer to wait until 7:30-8:00 pm or get up early and get a morning ride in. Morning rides are far and away my favorite.

Actually much above about 87 I start telling myself - tomorrow.. Depends upon the humidity..
As long as there is no black ice problems, I can take the cold... With a good base layer, one can be quite comfortable. Below freezing. I also start telling myself. Tomorrow.

I'd rather deal with the cold than with the heat. I live in a desert, though.
My theory is you can always start with a lot of layers and remove them as you warm up, but when it's hot you might get heat stroke if you're not drinking much.

When it's 95F i can always unzip my jersey to let a little air flow help keep me cool.
When it's 35F I can't bring a portable heater with me to keep my hands warm.
I have a few new gloves I'm going to try next winter. Maybe they'll work. Course I've been saying that for how many summers and autumns now?
Seems nothing has worked yet.

20F to no upper limit. I have a HUGE camelback for the hot days. Fillit with ice water before leaving the house. Also bring along a sports drink.

Sell your car. The whole "motivation" thing goes away.

My limit for not riding is 118. Under that and all is good. Living in Arizona you adapt sooner or later. I rode 27 miles in 107 degree yesterday. Was not bad at all. To the OP I noticed you live in Fallbrook. I grew up there and have family there still. I do know that when it heats up there the humidity is higher than AZ for sure.
