Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When will my CAAD9-6 get here!!??!!!???

Last Tuesday I put a deposit down on a caad9-6. They said it would be here on Friday. It wasn't here today or Friday.

The shop is in FL. What gives? How long should it take Cannondale to ship this dang bike?

The people at the shop aren't as excited as you are.

That's the problem.
The same thing happened to me. So I just added a week to my assumption, that way I would not go nuts.

If it makes you feel better, they just sent me a photo of them boarding your bike on the "shipment cruiser". So it's on its way!!!!

Welcome to the joys of dealing with Cannondale corp. The bikes may be OK but the company sucks.

Ordered my 9-5 last Thursday. Shop told me they would have it later this week. Here's to hoping.

I'm not sure how Cannondale handles this, but i've heard that some companies charge less if the shop ordered more than x number of bikes at once. Also, it may have just been delayed, and they still have to build it.

My Cannondale showed up about 2-3 business later than the initial timeframe quoted by the shop.

Did you order a 2010?... or a 2009. If you ordered a 2010, it would make sense that it would take a while for it to get to you. Getting estimates from your LBS on when a product will arrive is almost never accurate anyways, so take any dates and times given with a grain of salt.
