Best Tubulars for the tandem
I realize maybe 5 people to nobody rides tubulars on the tandem. I think they are perfect for tandems. They take very high pressure and roll so nicely. The tubular rim construction is superior to the clincher. I have used both, but the first thing I set out to do on my new (5th one) tandem was get the wheels right. Tubulars required.
I have a few favorites I plan to try:
Vlaanderen https://www.veloflex.it/en/tubulars/...nderen?lang=en
Vittoria Corsa G+ 25 or 28

We have a pair of tubular Nimble trispokes that we used for racing...tended to go with Contis as I felt they were a little more robust than the Veloflex or Vittorias, but this was a couple of tire generations back before the trend toward wider tires got going. I'd probably do the Vittoria Corsa Control if I were putting new tires on now.
