Possible Bar Swap

Hello Al,

New to this forum and I hope not in the wrong spot. I have a Salsa Cutthroat Force and am seriously thinking of swapping my drop bars for some Jones H Bars (i have them on another bike an like them). I know I will need a new shifter for my 1x11 but for my brakes will I need both new hydraulic levers and calipers? If only levers any recommendations for levers compatible with Sram Force? Thanks

As for the calipers you should be fine using Level T levers. Worse comes to worse call SRAM and ask them, they tend to always answer the phone.

You may need a new derailleur as well to go with the new shifter. In the 11sp world, I believe most MTB and drop bar systems have a different cable pull.

SRAM makes a flat bar shifter for their road stuff. I gave him the link above.
