Are those MTB tires? I've used the Vittoria Randonneur for a while in 700 x 32 and 35, no issues. I tried Schwalbe road bike tires once but returned them since they were difficult to put on the rims (I don't want to get a flat then have to struggle to fix it at the side of the road. Never tried Maxxis tires, I don't know of a LBS around my area that sells them.
