Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks! I think it's very nice out of the saddle. The aluminum portion of the frame is about as compact and sturdy as you can get. There is no flex. One thing I notice when I ride regular framed bikes is a gyro effect and I think this is because they have a top-heaviness that I am not used to. The Softride has a very low center of gravity.

Trek 2200 with Toupe saddle and Neuvation M28 Aero 2 wheels with Gatorskins. Some Look pedals next month. Had planned on getting a 1500 but this pup was knocked down $400 for a 06 model so I bit the bullet and have yet to regret it.

Taken on a simple P&S. Reshooting with the SLR soon.

Not as glamorous as others but it's my first and I love the way it rides. Thinking about powdercoating a spoke or two red or something else. Any suggestions or comments appreciated.

You can get them several places. I ended up purchasing them at
Ben's Cycling store. I think Ben offers a nice line of products at
some decent prices and also a very good customer service. I thought
I was getting the LTA(Ti), which was what I ordered, but ended up
with the H1. Of course I was totally OK with that. They look different,
but I don't believe there's any real change in quality.

Price was $299. Price in Norway would be closer to $450

Lectron - what kind of bar tape are you using on your bike?

BTW, if there was a "Pimp my Ride" for bikes, you would win.

1st that seat angle is ridiculous. Why do you have it angled like that?
Second, why on earth would you waste money having a few spoked powdercoated??

ding ding ding, well done. In a month or so, I get to ride LEW VT-1s
junior gearing sucks. I do understand the whole 'save your knees' thing but everyone has a natural cadence which they should be comfortable at.

Stem is Deda Newton, bars are Deda Newton, spacers are ultralight cnc'ed carbon, fork is gonna be EC90 SLX, groupset will eventually change to Rival/DA, seatpost will be KCNC TI lite, a few other little things and I'm hoping to drop a kilo off it.
