Bikes: More bicycles than I can ride at one time: 2 custom made tourers, a Brompton 6-speed, and an Indian-made roadster.

I LOVE Brooks B17s

Heard about them in the late 1990s. Finally (after a bit of an inheritance) I had a custom built steel expedition bike frame built (with 48 spoke 26" wheels). What saddle?? Found a used B17 on ebay...

That ride in Austalia on the Savanah Way "told me" of the utility of the Brooks. Certainly better than the nice French saddle on my 1974 Peugeot!

No matter.. as time progressed I had another custom-built made and put another used B17 on it. Now, even my Brompton has a B17!

Here in Portugal where I have retired to I just bought ANOTHER B17! The vendor said it was "uncomfortable". Her loss and my gain. And now to do some more touring ...
