L'Il help - Ritchey Hub, no Axle

A friend gave me this front wheel but the hub has no axle. I'd estimate this is a mid 90's wheel. The hub uses a sealed unit, wholly replaceable bearing. I'd like to know what an axle for it looks like so I can try and obtain one. Anyone have this hub on one of their bikes? tia!

Sorry, looks like it's all there to me. Could we have a picture with the missing axle/skewer?

Hi, sure thing. Here are some more photos. Inner Diameter is 9mm. There is no axle on this hub. I can't see this (or any) wheel held in place with only clamping pressure.

Some of those Ritchey hubs used an oversized quick release, essentially a small thru axle that fits in a standard dropout. They called it a straxle or something like that, Specialized did anyway when they used the hubs.

This. You can buy a 9mm RWS skewer from DT Swiss.

Ah yes! Thank you for that input. I'd never seen one of these types before. It seems there are a lots of adapter combos on the bay too. This is the identical wheel by the looks of things and this is the skewer. I'll keep an eye open at the local coops for one. Thanks again for your input on this!

Makes sense. Ritchey was all about keeping weight down. Why have a hollow axle AND a skewer ... Knowing them a bit, especially if you could make the skewer out Ti
