Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Orange tires?

I'm looking for some examples of orange tires for my upcoming CAAD9 (it's the 2008 white frame, I'm still deciding whether I'll want to go with a blue or orange scheme down the road)...the closest thing I could find was the "Yellow" in the Conti 4Ks...does anyone have orange tires on their bike? If you do, could you tell me the model and post pics? Thanks!

I've used the Maxxis Courchevels and Maxxis Detonators when I had an orange bike. They look good as long as you keep them clean.

However, as a peformance clincher tire I MUCH prefer Continental GP4000-S or chili compound Attack/Force tires.

Have I found the saddle for you
https://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Selle-Itali...QQcmdZViewItem
(not my auction, I just saw it and remembered this thread)
(also not my taste, but if you like orange, more power to you)

I've got "Conti Yellow" GP4000s on my orange Orca. This is really a nice orange color but don't confuse this color with the plain yellow that Continental also sells. I don't have a pic of them on my bike now since I'm running on a different wheelset but here is an image I got from PBK:

And I have no idea what to think of that orange Selle Italia...could have done with some black highlights
