Brussels Intervals?
Hello,
I'll be in Brussels for a few months, bringing over a road bike, rather centrally located (near Grand Place). I'm wondering if any road riders have any recommendations on some routes / locales where I could do 5 + 20 minute intervals?
Regards

First a disclaimer, I tend to avoid roads (gravel is for me the best around Brussels), nor do interval trainings outside (it’s for me a winter thing to do on my trainer), so I may misinterpret the requirements for intervals.
My first thought would be the “bicycle highways”: https://fietssnelwegen.be/en/bicycle-highways (not everything is completed, but by clicking on each route, you have the status per segment), but not the ones in Brussels though. The parts I’ve done seem very suitable for that exercise.
Otherwise, there are a lot of secondary roads around Brussels that are nice for riding, but do not seem suitable for interval trainings: loads of crossings, traffic and slope (there’s a lot small but steepish slopes).
