I think it's free to download if your Widows computer doesn't have it.

I rode from Rockmart to AL border this past weekend. RT is 51 miles. It pass thru some hill and no tall bridges. Lots of pretty country side. Will ride the last part of Chief D Trail soon when I get a holi days.
I like everything on the trail so far.
BTW, its the 2nd longest trail beside the 120 miles in MN.

A stick can be placed under the bottom bracket or rear quick release. I've seen people use hammers, wrenches and all sorts of things this way.
On a good day I just command and it obeys.

We are going to try and ride some of the STC this Saturday, our daughter lives in Atlanta and she regularly rides portions of the trail. Looking forward to finally riding on this cycling list check-off, weather sounds like it will be nice, just a little wind to manage.

If you like bridges and tunnels you should come to Venango County,PA and check out the Allegheny river and Sandy Creek trails, i don't have pics but I believe you can google them. the Belmar bridge, Rockland, and Kennerdell tunnels are pretty popular

I finally took my long overdue trip to Alabama and back. I took a lot of pics. Some actually have a very similar point of view to yours. Glad I got to see all the country side.

I rode from Rockart to Alabama and back today...
Cold start at Coots Lake trailhead.

Farm between Rockmart and Cedartown.

Cedartown Depot

Explored Cedartown and found this cool art deco theater. Not much else in Cedartown.

Not much else on the trail west of Rockmart. Lots of this...

Standing in Georgia looking west at Alabama where the Silver Comet Trail becomes the Chief Ladiga Trail.

Great photos. I still cannot get over how sexy your bike is. How did you do on the constant up and down hills after Rockmart, closer to Cedartown.

Do you mean the big hill east of Cedartown at the garbage dump? That was tough. Just had to grind it out. It wasn't the hardest hill I've done on the fixed gear bike though.

When are you going to post your pictures?

looks stunning up close as well. Yea those hills that look like rollercoasters. I had fun with those, but not sure how I would have faired for 120 miles with a single speed, especially if I knew I would have to climb those.
I did not feel like starting my own thread for same road, but wasn't sure if your thread was just you wanting to keep your pictures, so I did not post anything.

Thanks for the pics @jonc123. It is nice to see other people's perspective on the trial. The concrete blocks are in Alabama? I don't recognize that spot.
Here is a shot taken today at about mile 15. 53°, wind blowing the bike around, leaves flying everywhere... Nothing like a blustery day. I love it.
