Is anyone participating in these events? I am considering signing up for Bulls on Parade in the SS category. There are only a handful of riders signed up on Bike Reg.

According to sponsors there are about 30 signed up for this Saturday and another 20 to 30 committed to sign up the day of the event. I will ride but have not signed up.

Shoot me a PM if you come down to one of the rides, I can introduce to some of the gravel guru's around here. If you are going to make only one event, I would shoot for the May 2nd ride because it is on the Northeast side of Wichita and the drive will be 30 to 40 minutes shorter. It is also at the Benton airport and since it is the last race in the series they are trying to make it more of a party atmosphere.

Is there any support system in place? I don't know if I will have a driver available to bail me out in case I DNF.

It is a self supported ride but, the route is two 25 mile loops so you have a chance to bail. I am also sure that you won't be stranded out on the road. Come on down you will enjoy it.

Signed up!
Hoping to challenge the only SS entrant from last week - but will really just be aiming for a (timely) finish. This will be my first gravel race.

Race 2 in the series was today. Won the C class with 17.6 average, 54 miles in 3:03. I have never ridden 50 mIles straight before.

Last race in the series is tomorrow, I'm going to try to make it. Anyone else? The course map is here (2 loops).
I run/bike occasionally on some of these roads. About a month or so ago, the East side (Fulton Rd) had just been covered in a thick layer of some very chunky gravel...hopefully its smoothed out a little by now.
