ICAN Carbon Wheelset - Not the stereotypical Chinese wheelset
As a broke college student who loves to ride I was looking for an inexpensive carbon wheelset. I looked for a long time at used wheels but never felt comfortable riding something that someone else no longer wants. After a lot of research I decided to take a chance on an ICAN 50mm carbon wheelset. I'm a heavier rider so I purchased the set with Sapim CX Ray spokes. Honestly... I've been incredibly surprised at how nice these wheels are. They are sturdy, light, and fast. They break about as well as you can hope for on a carbon wheel. Plus they hooked me up with a 2 year warranty... which I highly doubt I'll need.
Conclusion: definitely worth the money. $425 on Amazon.

As a broke college student I would question your experience with anything.
And since your second post ever sounds like a very unimaginative schill ad, I'd hazard the conclusion that ican should be avoided at all costs.

Suffice to say that it is EXACTLY a stereotypical Chinese wheelset and the OP is making EXACTLY the same "oh, check out this awesome new wheelset that's totally unlike every other Chinese wheelset" new postings pitch that has been done ad nauseum on various forums over the last few years.
And when that's your first AND second post on a forum, it has zero credibility. So, in the zero percent chance that you're right, maybe the OP can actually engage in the community with some actual cycling posts before the touting begins?

I didn't know Sapim CX-Ray spokes were for heavier riders. 
Ican has been around a while. No experience with them but icanbicycles on ebay has over 1000 transactions and 100% positive feedback so apparently some folks are happy with them.
I'm thinking of trying some Chinese carbon wheels and am looking at them and Carbonzone.
