I use the Halo 2. It does a decent job of keeping it out of my eyes, not perfect though. One of its problems is that if one squeezes the water out of it into a towel when it does start dripping on the face, one has to be really careful not to destroy the plastic. Also the plastic comes unglued in the laundry eventually. I superglue it back on. Also I still have quite a puddle on the floor under my bike, though the fan blows it off to leeward. It works though.

I have a dead bird cap. If I look even a little bit down, all the sweat goes through the brim and falls off the end "corners." Plus it keeps my forehead from sunburns.

I tried the halos but I sweat too much so they're overwhelmed just as fast as a cheap cotton sweatband. I just bought a pack of 12 of the cheap cotton ones from amazon and swap them out every few minutes.

Halo is good but the Sweat Hawg is what works for me. It soaks up a ton of sweat and can be wrung out periodically if necessary. (Not necessary outside, but we're talking on the trainer here!)

@treebound I have this one: https://www.arcteryx.com/us/en/shop/calvus-cap
The logo (and name Arc'teryx) is why people call this company "dead bird."

any ole cotton cycling cap works for me -- if it's soaked to the point of dripping, I've been on the trainer too long.
also make sure you have a box fan or other forced air --I have mine under the monitor angled up at my head ...

Floor fan pointed up at legs and torso, another fan at head and torso level. Open window. Small towel for what little sweat comes up.
