Howdy, from Houston
Ladies and gentlemen good afternoon...
Admins, thank you for allowing me to participate in this here bicycle forum.
Let me introduce myself and then my 26 inch bike, yes I have her a name... Isn't that normal?
My name is Luis 52 years old, I go on the internet by Cdr. Instigator. I'm originally from South Texas born and raised, but, I have lived in South Houston for the past 27 years or since I did my time in the Navy.
When I was growing up at the age of 15 or so I used to be into lowrider bikes. Had a few in that era. The last time I owned one was many, many decades ago, hell... I'm 52 now, who am I kidding!
I have 4 children the oldest of which is 17 and the youngest 10. All of them have bicycles, but none of them lowriders. I upgraded my eldest bike to a 26 inch cruiser, old style looking bike. He likes to ride it around our neighborhood, but he had no one to ride with, so the proper thing for me to do is get in with the program and get a nije to so I could ride with him. I was going to just order me another cruiser like the one I got him from Target at a mere 140 bucks or so, but being the extravagant attention ***** that I am, I just wasn't going to settle for a Wal-Mart or Target bike. I search the internet far and wide for the perfect bike. And then I pulled the trigger with my wife's permission of course, on this 900 dollar beauty. An all Chrome stretched lowrider cruiser I named "Chrome Crusader"
I received it and almost the same day I also received many parts I had ordered from Amazon, to Mod the bike to my hearts content...
At around 1400 dollars my 26 inch stretched lowrider cruiser is the most expensive bike I've ever bought. I'm so inloved with it, that I use every day in and around our neighborhood. People can't get enough of it. They stop in traffic to take pictures and sometimes I have 4 or 5 people talking to me and admiring my bicycle. It's amazing!
Pictures to follow soon after several more posts
