Nut stuck in head tube
At the moment I’m trying to repair an old bike. I believe there is a nut stuck in the head tube which is preventing the front wheel from turning with the handle bars. Does anyone know how to remove it and which parts of the bike would need to be dismantled.

Are you referring to the wedge or cone nut that, when tightened, jams the stem solidly to the inside of the steerer tube? Or is this nut a stray one that for some reason found it's way into the head tube and is jamming between the steerer tube and the inside of the head tube? Describe the situation in a bit more detail so we understand what's happening.

Welcome! From your description it sounds like you need to remove the fork. Figuring out how a nut got in there is a different story.
