Trek super doodlebug hitch

HELP! I need to locate the correct bike hitch to receive the Trek Super Doodlebug trailer. My trailer was burned in a house fire and after finally locating a replacement - I don't have the correct hitch. The generic replacements online appear to be the wrong size to couple with trailer arm. Local Trek dealer couldn't help me.
Any help appreciated.

I posted in the Two Wheeling Tots Facebook group and the site owner suggested replacing the entire assembly.
