What is Your Opinions on Chris Bucchere's Bikelash Podcast Series?
Chris Bucchere just released podcast series called by Bikelash. Bucchere, if you didn't know, ran over and killed 71 year old pedestrian Sutchi Hui in San Francisco on March 29, 2012. I want to know where your thoughts on him and his podcast.

I just started listening to it. It's a fascinating idea. I'll let you know my thoughts after I read/listen to the podcasts.

Is this the guy who was riding a fixie sans brake in San Francisco?
Because if that's the case, I can't sympathize with him ... although I agree that motorists get away with murder all the time.
edit: He claims it wasn't his fixie:
They claimed I was riding a fixie—a fixed-gear bicycle with no brakes—and that’s what caused the accident.
But my road bike, currently in police custody, has brakes and gears.

OK, so I read all of his blog posts up until now. If the video evidence is as he contends, and if that is really the heart of the matter, (I'm not an attorney) then it seems as if the District Attorney, as well as the Judge, really had it in for him. I do believe that some of the sentiment towards him, from the DA and the Judge, was due to his ill advised email, sent right after the accident. So, self inflicted, in a way. I believe there was a gross miscarriage of justice here.
That being said, in light of the fact that a man lost his life, the blog posts seem a bit self serving and even narcissistic to me. But then again, I don't know how I would react if it were me accused and railroaded.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it was really an interesting read.
