My first road bike - back home!
Folks - A few years ago I got into Road biking and I found this steel framed bike at a thrift store of all places. After asking from help identifying the frame from some guys on this forum it appears the frame may (we couldn’t be 100%) have been a 1995 Novara Trionfo which utilized Tange Prestige Ultimate steel tubing and the Shimano 600 tricolor groupset. As a dummy I sold it quickly after buying to help finance my first carbon race bike and I regretted it ever since. Fast forward to last week. I decided to reach out to the guy who had bought it, who still had it, and worked out a deal to get it back. I’ve since been to work this week on it with a few modern additions (wheels and stem/bar setup) and am super happy with how it came out. I still prefer my Canyon Ultimate Di2 for the fast team rides but this thing rides like a dream, is comfortable, and gets 10x more the attention. It will now be a standard coffee ride bike for me. So grateful for my second chance with it and will never let it go again. Let me know your thoughts!

You might want to check out this seatpost.

it looks good on a classic steel frame
this stem and these bars would help too.

Sonof12, that is one very clean, sweet looking ride. You already know that seatpost has to go; otherwise, everything else looks great.
It must feel so good being able to reunite and reclaim a favorite build/bike.
