Jamis 2007 Commuter 2.0 - 35C tires

Hi, I picked up a bike (finally) for an older Sister who has not ridden a bike in 35 years (and after almost as much time encouraging her to do so) she is now riding again. It's basically a NOS 2007 Jamis 2.0 Commuter in "Aztec Orange". The fellow bought it for his Dad, who rode 20 km total on it (he wasn't sure of himself enough to ride) and then it was set in the basement until a few weeks ago. Thankfully my Sister is really liking it, a bit of a risk as it was purchased as a surprise. Q? - will this thing take a 35c Schwalbe Marathon and a Marathon Plus? It has stock Kenda 32c on board. I prefer the Schwalbe combo as it is what I've used for years with good results. Input from Jamis Commuter owners who've successfully made the shift up one size in tires is invited.

Just measure your clearances. That will be a good indicator of what will, and won't fit.

Honestly though, you can usually just "tell" when you're good for a few more millimeters, and when you're already maxed-out.

I ordered the set and we'll see if they fit. If anything, all that will be required is a change of fender and i don't think the frame will be the limiting factor.
