Does this help? Amazon has good deals with or without clamps it seems but I'm not sure 350mm will be long enough? Thanks for help I'm ready to fix this bike

If you have to ask then the answer is usually yes it is dangerous. They do not put those lines on their just for decoration. A bike that DOESN'T FIT is not a good deal. Price is not the only factor of a good deal.
If you are truly lacking money then being dangerous is a good way to land yourself in the hospital which is an extremely expensive proposition. Save some money up and get your self a good seatpost of some length like 400mm or better yet save up for a bike that fits well. If you drink expensive coffee or smoke or drive a lot or anything else that sucks a lot of money maybe consider cutting back a little or saving a jar with change every day and pretty soon you can end up with some extra cash.

If you're still in a pinch, I have a carbon, 300mm 27.2 bontrager seatpost laying around, removed from a bike long ago. This would give you a bit more room. (I'm assuming your current seatpost is 250mm).

The issue is not that the bike is too small. The issue is that the bike came with a super short seat post. A 250mm post would be too short for most bikes I have owned.
250mm is about as short as seat posts come. The OP only needed a few cm more. 350mm is a very common/average length and would have worked fine with room to spare. He is just playing it extra safe with the 400mm one (which is also not unusually long.

Did you correct the over-extended stem? Post a pic.
I guess I bought it out of wishful thinking. It was a good deal. I'm poor and it's very hard to find cheap bikes at all let alone for tall people. I'm 6'5". I'm not just barely past the max, I've got it about as far as it will go just about. Rode on it like that for about 5 miles so far and it was nice. Maybe you're all being uptight about this? Cause it seemed sturdy to me. I don't have money for another seat post. I've also got the handlebar stem beyond max too to compensate. Ah well I appreciate that anyone responded at all even if now I'm fearful and don't know what to do.

Yeah I think I lowered it down to the min max marker. I'm not as concerned about the handlebar height it doesn't affect me too much. This seatpost I got is gigantic. On max I can't even get on the bike and I'm 6'5".

You need to find a bike that fits, friend. The problem is that people who are on the ends of the height spectrum do not know what a properly fitting bike feels like. There are modifications that can be done to get an ill fitting bike closer to correct, but for very tall people, many bikes are not even made in a size big enough. Just because a bike is the biggest one you can find or the biggest size available of a particular model does not mean it is big enough.
Keep your eyes on online classifieds for an old 10-speed road bike - they are often available in 62cm or 64 cm frames, which will work for you. For a mountain bike you probably want a minimum frame size of 22".
