Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Might see if you can get the C/D prescription food. My poor boy needed the surgery. I also don't think it's a coincidence that he got it almost immediately after moving to San Antonio and its super hard water.

If it helps, he was a super picky eater (would reject almost all dry food and much wet) and he liked both the dry and wet C/D.

Any time. I am always happy to help! I do suggest triamcinolone 0.1% cream apply QD PRN.

His stay at U. Penn vet early this year was nearly $1,900. This one is going to cost about the same. Had to put down a G deposit this morning. I could see the signs so I didn't bother taking him to the local vet just so they could charge me $100 to tell me I need to take him to Penn.

Funnily enough, mine was opposite - there was no cuts-in-gravy he would even lick.

Now, about my crushing substernal pain: Do I need to take another bar on 2 hr rides or is it electrolytes?

You can try it, it may help. You sure you are not doing well with MTX?? Most RA patients do great with it, plus/minus Remicade. But it's a tough disease. Sad.

Huh. Actually tested Simponi on a reporter cell line I made, about a decade ago. Unsurprisingly, it worked as expected.

But the name has always sounded like a video game for adolescent girls.

Was just at a small meeting where one guy's MIL just died of COVID-19 after being exposed by her daughter, his wife, who was unaware she was infected, and another guy whose 80 yo brother developed acute confusion without fever or any other symptoms, tested positive, and recovered completely. So strange and scary, this virus.

I suspect we'll learn a lot about it in the coming years which will make sense of it. At least I hope so.

Oh boy. Sounds like they're working on a cookies notification. Euro regulators must be coming down on them.

I've been taking 25 mg/wk MTX for the last few years. The Remicade is delivering less bang for the buck with each infusion. I think they're going to try one more dosage increase, but I suspect a drug change next year.
