Wanting to build a low cruiser from scratch - your help is appreciated

Hey guys/girls,

I am wanting to scratch build a low fat bike cruiser with 20 inch x 4 inch wheels. I have only seen this one that I would like to copy. Has anyone built anything like this so far? Or know any information regarding this particular bike. What would you recommend building it out of. It will only be a flat path bike no hills, with possibly an internal three speed hub. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Stephen

I build them for myself fairly often, but not quite that elaborate, and I've only tried the 20x4 wheels once or twice (most of mine start with a 26" beach cruiser). unfortunately, photobucket has all my pics hostage.

I hardly go there now, but try the rat rod bikes forum, or maybe chopaderos forum. wouldn't surprise me if you found it at one of those. if nothing else you should see more examples.

Thanks Philphine, I'll check it out.

Anyone else with more build pics that would like to share here?

Cheers

I think you'll get a lot more participation, info, and answers at Rat Rod Bikes - Your Custom & Vintage Bike Headquarters

same bike (if I got the copy/paste right). you may have got the pic from the same place. if not, maybe there might be more clues to find out about that specific bike.

Yes that’s the same bike. I still have no info about it yet. I’ve drawn up a 1:1 sketch but it’s not quite right yet.

Nice bike definitely. I can not give you advice, I'm sorry. I can only tell you that you first look for information on how to mount the bike on google.
