Nice scenery! Those look like dirt roads, which are fun for exploring... but are there any technical singletrack trails in the area?

There are singletrack trails in the rice fields, or by the stream/ditch, and along the hill foot, depending on which routes you go. Please see more photos.

Brings back memories of traveling through Yangshuo, just up/down river from Guilin in 1985! Except back then, all I had to ride were the 3-speed Pigeons that you rent from hotels and restaurants. You could ride as far as the edge of the crags, and if you looked really hard, sometimes you could find a trail to the top. The best thing about exploring on a bike is that it’s easy to double back. No GPS, barely any maps, just the road and the sun in the horizon. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Kanegon, you were here in 1985! that is a bit long time ago. I am afraid that the Pigeon bikes don't exist here anymore. You can find Giant, Merida or other brands instead. The landscape is still beautiful as before...

From 2017, the Tour of Guangxi is an annual professional cycling stage race held in Guangxi, South China. As part of the UCI World Tour, the race consists of 6 stages with a total length of 940km. The event will pass through a mix of metropolitan areas and stunning countryside scenery over six days of racing. It is also the last stage of 2017 UCI World Tour with the participation of the 18 elite teams recognized by the UCI.
The 2017 race, from October 19-24, started from the seaside city of Beihai, passing Qinzhou, Nanning, Liuzhou and eventually ending in Guilin. It also includes a women's race. Finally 2017 UCI Cycling Gala was held at the last stop - Guilin. The best road cyclists in 2017 were honoured here.

I used to live in Guilin! This brings back fond memories. I loved it there and had a great time. Mostly did hiking though. Amazing pictures.
