Lanterne Rouge 2018
If this is your first look at the 2018 Lanterne Rouge standings since after stage 1, you haven't missed much. Lawson Craddock was on top after a stage 1 crash, and he has done exactly what is required to stay on top despite a broken shoulder blade -- persevere. A wire-to-wire victory seems nearly certain at this point. All he has to do is keep making time-cuts (and avoid riding too fast in the ITT).
After 14 stages, the top 10 is as follows:
1. 65H 44' 01" Lawson Craddock
2. -10' 20" Armund Grondahl Jansen
3. -11' 04" Jay Robert Thomson
4. -15' 44" Jacopp Guarnieri
5. -16' 41" Timo Roosen
6. -18' 16" Jasper de Buyst
7. -27" 30" Robert Ferrari
8. -28' 56" Maximiliano Ariel Richeze
9. -29' 20" Damien Gaudin
10. -29' 26" Dimitri Claeys

I usually cover this each year here just didn't have time this year. All it takes however is one good day for Craddock to ruin his chances at the red jersey and we've seen it before. One breakaway is all it takes. An American has never won it.
Wim Vansevenant won it 3 years in a row 2006-2008.
