We Begin Our Ascent: new TdF novel
Something to read in the off season
Apparently the protagonist in this novel is a cyclist racing in the TdF.
Has anybody read it? Does it ring true? Either way, it's now in my "to read" (virtual) pile.

I don't know about that story but a few years ago when Chris Horner was still riding the tour, he had a column in his home town paper that ran while he was riding the tour. I found the discussion of strategy and tactics intensely interesting. If the book is written by some one knowledgeable about racing at a top level, it would indeed be a great read.
