Help Id-ing this Trek...Repainted 720?

Owner knows almost nothing about this bike, but to me w/ the long chainstays it looks like a repainted 1982 720. Opinions from the Trek experts on model ID, & potential value w/ the limited pics I have.

Thanks!

Ask the seller what the serial number is and skip the guessing?

That has bottle bosses on the underside of the DT so it looks to be a 720.
Repainting is certainly subjective but I personally like bikes with original paint. Of course I guess in some cases a repaint is warranted.
I'd guess less than $300 for value. I'd hold out for a more original version, though it was available as a frameset so I suppose it could be "original".

It also has the double eyelets on the f/r drop outs so I also guess it’s a custom painted 720. Could be original factory paint as Trek was still building custom bikes in 82’. The brown SP Trek decal is same color used for the 1982 720.
if it’s original imron paint, I’d say frame and fork alone should go for $275 ish without any dings dents. But I just like vintage Treks...
