Better kickstand for folding bikes, Dahon?
I tried the rear mount Pletscher Multi Zoom kickstand on my 20" dahon but the angles of the stays are too sharp so the kickstand moves forward and my shoes are hitting it.
The original center kickstand from Dahon is too far out so my shoes are hitting it too, so I'm looking for an alternative.
Does anyone know of a better kickstand that folds closer inward?

1, Not a Dahon owner, but will suggest getting a part fabricated to use the left end of the axle to hold it on..
web search maybe there are some..
nowadays there are kickstands using 2 small bolts horizontally into usually a chainstay
https://www.pletscher.ch/index.php/e...-kickstands-en
those may be adapted.. perhaps ?
I have a kickstand less bikes
when not riding, it is locked up to something solid.
to not get stolen.

This is a picture of a Greenfield kickstand. I don't know if it would work.
Shot with the kickstand up.

From another thread, looks like a KS for a bigger wheel bike was bent,
to go on a folding 16" wheel bike.. look for one un bent ..
(It's made of steel so you could heat it to forging temperatures )

I just got the Pletcher center mounted Zoom, and I can confirm that it works well with my Dahon. the kickstand is in line with the stays so my shoe doesn't kick it. There is about 5mm clearance to my 2.1" tires. It has an adjustable plastic foot with 2 hex screws.
