Deal of the century? Not quite..
However, it does look clean and the price is in that "worth it for $350" category. I would consider it a pretty good deal.

Around here, if it were my size, I would go take a look at it.
It's a price-point model, and though I love price-point models I wouldn't pay much more.
But then again flashy Italian bikes in useful sizes don't exactly grow on trees.

Thanks for the info. I am going to take a look tomorrow. I live in Northern Italy so these kind of bikes are actually pretty common. I am looking for an older steel bike to bring back with me when I return to the US next year. I have been looking for decent Colnago Master but this bike is nice. I'll let y'all know how it comes out.

If that were to be the case, it would be on eBay for a loooooooooonggggg time. Maybe even forever lol. Think about it..with $1200 I can think of atleast 20 other vintage steel bikes to choose from, not to mention more 'rare/'special'' (lugs, tubing, parts, etc.) Nothing too special about that Bottechia (to be completely honest) Ive seen more unique Bottechia's (eBay, bike shops, pictures, etc.).

$383US for a mint condition, Campy equipped, hand made in Italy Botteccia? You would have a better chance of being struck by lightening than finding one for anywhere near that price here. Not even close.

Kind of a non-starter. Short of looking at the bike in person, there's nothing here that can be assessed. A few small pics.
Still, I've seen more than a few nicer bikes in that price range.

That bike is worth that price and considerably more based on everything you mentioned. The frame alone would be hard to get at that price in most places due to its pristine condition.
