As far as shipping... I’m in the Milwaukee area and my local bike shop , Wheel and Sprocket, charges $120 to ship a bike anywhere in the US.
You just drop off the complete bike that’s ready to ride and they professionally disassemble, box your bike and ship it. Try calling your local bike shops and see if they too offer a similar service.

Thanks for all the input guys! I could not find a shop that would both pack and ship. I think I will just keep it on the wall
